“Anthurium”

Married in the hills of rural Tuscany, accompanied by their nearest and dearest from NZ and abroad, Harriet and Jonas went against tradition, each holding a bouquet of Anthurium in contrasting colours as they walked towards the garden altar. The reception was adorned with floral arrangements using local wildflowers and anthurium.

"I didn't do a bouquet toss at our wedding. Instead, I dedicated my bouquet to my Mum.

Mums generally don't have a special role in weddings despite giving their bodies, lives, and often careers for their kids. I wanted to honour her in some way."
